This is what happened on Monday the 2nd of August 2004...

Yesterday morning I wasnt well enough to go to uni, so i didnt go to my lecture butin the very last second decided to pop into my tute cause i had to do something. So i told meg to meet me at Creative Industries after 2 and that i was gonna get the 1:15 bus, anyway that bus didnt even bother to turn up, so i got there after 2, so meg and i went onto the computers. We then went to the city and decided to hang around, and asked marcus if he wanted to come in. Shantell was at tafe at southbank and was finishing at 9, so we thought we would wait for her to finish. However, she forgot her mobile... so marcus had her mobile and then we were relying on her to call marcus from south bank trainstation, like she normally does, but to our luck she didnt call from south bank like she normally does, she called from groverly.

Anyways it was now about 9:15pm or so and marcus, meg and i then started heading back home, meg got a lift from her mum and marcus was gonna get the bus with me and then take the train from alderly. The timetable said a bus was gonna leave at 9:30... 9:55 the bus wasnt there, we look at the timetable again and theres a little "f" next to the time, meaning that that bus only goes on fridays. We then decided that it might be easier to get the train and then marcus gives me a lift, so we headed back to the trainstation, and the next train didnt go for another hr... we asked if there were any earlier trains and we were told that there was one timetabled at 10:13, going from central. So we took the next train to central and that train didnt exist. Shantell by this time was already waiting for about an hr in front of maccas which was closed, so we didnt like the idea of her being alone for another hr, so we took a taxi, and expected shantell to be furious, but she was quite the opposite.

The moral of this story, is to take your mobile when you go out


However, the whole night was not a disaster, we had a yummy dinner, and marcus and i bought minties.
