ive fallen in love with london!

there is so much history, art and culture here its just amazing.

on our way to the train station a police car zoomed up sirens blaring as somebody left a bag at the station, all was good, but i think maybe these emergencys are following me around now.

anyway visited westminister abbey, trafalgar square, downing st, caught the end of the changing of the guards at buckingham pallace, saw big ben, went to the south bank (full of modern art, theatre, design, film & culture where i want to look for work at once ive finished uni), and did some other stuff which i cant remember right now before heading to london bridge station on our way back. It was a really beautiful sunny day & for once i wasnt cold, even took off my siberian jacket.

SKIRMISH Saturday 13th Jan in Samford for my b'day (12th), my sisters b'f's b'day Sam (13th) and Travs b'day (16th) you should only need $50 of which I will need a $10 deposit before the new-year and I need yes's before xmas, c'mon guys I am seriously getting forced to do this so the more the merrier ppppplease lol.

Following that we are off to the Dockside Comedy Club at $25 per person but its a great night and I suggest public transport or car pooling as parking is very very limited. Will also need numbers for that as well asap.

If you think you don't know us well enough come along to both anyways ;)

Seein' The Light

We had a blast on Saturday night. I was able to satisfy my ever-growing addiction for hot liquid sex. Oh and the band of the same name was pretty good too.

Quite a good turnout, although I had a few last-minute cancellations, which was a little disappointing, but the appearance of Ian from Powderfinger and partner Georgie who brought along a party of twenty, made up for it. We recorded Bad Motivator at their Airlock Studios at Samford.

It was the first time we played an encore too, because people only really started to get up near the end and wanted to dance more. We really didn't have anything planned, so just pulled out one of our old songs we hadn't done in ages.

It was clearly a religious experience for Paulie, as you can see from this photo.

House/Flat Warming/Brightening

Everyone is invited to my new place - ok it's a bit small, but we'll fit you all in somehow - plus it'll be mostly outside with the barbecue etc. This Saturday the 23rd; rock up at around 7-7:30-8pm. Free beer, light entertainment, fun, frivolities, etc.

Come, bring friends, have a good time, and leave satisfied.

Halloween

Halloween has had a change. There will be two versions - the 28th October with Chontie - in costumes and probably hanging out somewhere not at my house. And also one a week later so that more people are able to come. Both Saturday night.

Please post and tell us if you are able to attend. (Or sms, or email etc) This will help with knowing what munchies etc to purchase.

Costumes are requested for both. Please reply so Chontie and I know what to plan for the 28th and then if the 4th needs to run.

1. 28th October. 7pm. Not sure where, when we know who is going we will organise something.

2. 4th November. 7:30pm. I am at a wedding during the day which goes until 6pm. Everyone is expected. It'll be at my house. BYO alcohol etc. Probably buy a few bags of chips or something. BBQ will also be on the day after unless we negotiate not to have it until a week later.

Please reply so that we know and can give the info about the 28th October oen to people at the bbq in October.
