MIT OpenCourseWare

Now you don't need to pay those pesky uni fees for a university education. The prestigious MIT has released quite a few of their courses free to the public, with all the lecture notes, readings and everything available for download on their OpenCourseWare website. Some even have videos and audio recordings of all the lectures.

I've just downloaded a few biology lectures in mp3 format to play on my iPod, but you can choose from heaps of different areas like Aeronautics and Astronautics, Brain and Cognitive Sciences, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Media Arts and Sciences and lots more.

I guess the only major drawback is you don't get a nifty piece of paper at the end of it all. Oh well, it's supposed to be all about learning anyway, isn't it? :P
